They&#8217;re from all over the country, too. Of course, we&#8217;ll tell you where to see them live in the coming days and months, as well as play a round of &#8220;Screw the Scalpers,&#8221; where we tell you about some shows sure to sell out and when they go on sale &#8211; so you don&#8217;t get screwed.</p>
<p>A big thanks this week to Jon, a Sound Citizen reader who suggested Root Hog, and to everyone who subscribed this week to Sound Citizen Radio on iTunes. Keep it going &#8211; the more we spread the love, the closer these bands get to living the rock and roll dream.</p>

<p>In our continuous efforts to bring the live music scene straight to you, we decided to launch a podcast &#8211; Sound Citizen Radio. Every broadcast, we will talk music and play music. You will hear about the general music scene, the latest happenings on Sound Citizen, shows we went to, shows we are planning to go to, and just about anything else that we think you should know about. <em><strong>This week&#8217;s podcast is at the bottom of this post.</strong></em></p>
<p>And what&#8217;s radio without music? We will play some local bands, tell you where to go see them and make some other recommendations of upcoming concerts in the area.</p>

<p>We&#8217;re getting ready to launch Sound Citizen Radio &#8211; a weekly podcast featuring kick-ass bands. It&#8217;s pretty simple. Each week we will introduce a couple bands. We&#8217;ll play your music, tell listeners where to buy it and where they can go see you perform live. Each episode will be featured on SoundCitizen.com and iTunes, available to download.</p>
<p><strong>Here&#8217;s what to do</strong>: Email <a href="mailto:soundcitizenmike@gmail.com">soundcitizenmike@gmail.com</a> with mp3&#8242;s of your music or a link where I can download an album or songs. And tell us a little about yourselves and the band. That&#8217;s it! I&#8217;ll take care of the rest. And I won&#8217;t give away your music, just broadcast it to our listeners.</p>

We&#039;re getting ready to launch Sound Citizen Radio - a weekly podcast featuring kick-ass bands. It&#039;s pretty simple. Each week we will introduce a couple bands. We&#039;ll play your music, tell listeners where to buy it and where they can go see you perform live. Each episode will be featured on SoundCitizen.com and iTunes, available to download.

Here&#039;s what to do: Email soundcitizenmike@gmail.com (mailto:soundcitizenmike@gmail.com) with mp3&#039;s of your music or a link where I can download an album or songs. And tell us a little about yourselves and the band. That&#039;s it! I&#039;ll take care of the rest. And I won&#039;t give away your music, just broadcast it to our listeners.

We encourage all our readers to go see live music. And we will do the same with our listeners. Help us support the local music scene in your town, get some new fans and spread the rock!
