The Mile High Music Festival in Denver comes to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (how catchy) on July 18 and 19. Recently announced bands include Widespread Panic (playing both nights), The Fray and Tool, among others.
Both days are looking good. The lineup for Saturday, July 18 includes Ben Harper, G. Love, Ani Difranco, The Black Keys and The Greyboy Allstars. Sunday, July 19 has The Fray, Gov’t Mule, Guster, The Wailers and John Butler.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 3. And get ready to shell out some serious clams. A two-day pass is $162.50 and a single day pass is $90 – both before service fees. That’s more expensive than Lollapalooza, somehow. But because festival organizers are looking out for the little guy, there’s a layaway plan available for two-day passes – half by May 15, then the other half on June 12.
Below is a video of The Black Crowes playing at last year’s inaugural Mile High Festival.
